To install Kali Linux in VirtualBox in 5 minutes, you will need to have the following:
- A computer with an internet connection.
- VirtualBox software is installed on your computer. You can download it from this link: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
- A copy of the Kali Linux ISO file. You can download it from this link: https://www.kali.org/downloads/
- Open VirtualBox and click the "New" button.
- In the "Create Virtual Machine" window, enter a name for your virtual machine and select "Linux" as the type and "Debian (64-bit)" as the version. Then, click the "Next" button.
- In the "Memory Size" window, allocate at least 2048 MB of RAM to your virtual machine and click the "Next" button.
- In the "Hard Disk" window, choose "Create a virtual hard disk now" and click the "Create" button.
- In the "Create Virtual Hard Disk" window, choose "VMDK" as the hard disk file type and click the "Next" button.
- In the "Storage on Physical Hard Disk" window, choose "Dynamically allocated" and click the "Next" button.
- In the "File Location and Size" window, specify the location and size of the virtual hard disk and click the "Create" button.
- Right-click on your new virtual machine and select "Settings".
- In the "Settings" window, go to the "Storage" section and click the "Add Hard Disk" button.
- In the "Add Hard Disk" window, choose "Choose a virtual hard disk file" and select the Kali Linux ISO file you downloaded earlier.
- Start the virtual machine by clicking the "Start" button.
- Follow the prompts to install Kali Linux on your virtual machine.
That's it! You should now have Kali Linux installed in VirtualBox.
